この作品は「J.S.バッハに始まり、オッフェンバックに終わる」という有名な言葉が残されている様に、1楽章はバッハの幻想曲の様なイントロで始まり、オッフェンバック風の2楽章、ロマン派の協奏曲の王道である激しく華やかな3楽章で幕を閉じます。オーケストラと共演できることに感謝し、心を込めて演奏します。

Composer's Comment

As the famous words of this piece related—It begins with J.S. Bach and ends with Offenbach—so the first movement begins with an intro reminiscent of a Bach fantasia, a second movement in an Offenbach style, and finishes with a fierce and splendid third movement that is a rushed Romantic concerto. I am grateful to play along with an orchestra, and I will put all of my heart into this performance.
