This composition is based on the Congo monkey, a Latin American animal with many particular characteristics. The piece is expressed through the piano and body percussion, because of its relationship with the monkey’s movement. My composition is the desire to create a story that tells the lives of the monkeys and their ways of interacting with each other and their habitat. Ozomatli is the Nahuatl word for the astrological symbol of the monkey.

Esta composicion esta basada en el congo, un animal latinoamericano con muchas caractristica particulares que se expresaron con el el piano y la percusión corporal, ya que se relaciona con el movimiento del mono. Mi composcicion es el deseo de crear una historia que cuenta la vida de los monos y sus formas de interactuar entre ellos y su habitat. Ozomatli es la palabra Nahuatl para el símbolo astrológico del mono.
